Shahbanu Farah, the Queen of the Pahlavi Dynasty

For improving the women's status in the country, Mohammadreza Shah broke the tradition by her coronation in 1967. Before that, the wives of monarchs were not crowned.
Queen Farah Pahlavi contributed to many policy implementation plans in Iran and she is known as the mother of Iran.
Her popularity is increasing everyday among Iranian women and she was one of the main role models for women of Iran, when the world was hearing Iranians chant "woman life freedom" in the recent Iran uprising.
